Delhi is the second most polluted city in the world. This pollution gets worsen post-Diwali celebrations. To improve air quality in the capital city Government has initiated many measures. Did you really think it’s only Government responsibility? Can’t we contribute individually to combat this?

Working on this Vodafone a Telecom operator company is #CelebratingSuper. Vodafone Super Initiatives to make Delhi into a better city, they started multiple campaigns. Let’s have a look:
Gifting eco-friendly Super Crackers and E-Phuljhari
As a part of this initiative, Vodafone started Green Diwali Campaign from October 16 to 19 to give a good experience to Delhi, NCR people. The Green Diwali Campaign includes distribution of ‘Super Crackers to its customers across its 52 stores in Delhi NCR.
These ‘Super Crackers are eco-friendly water soluble papers in form of cracker that contains soya or Tulsi plant seeds. These plant seeds are air purifying. All you have to do is plant it and let it flourish. This initiative will help in improving the pollutions levels and makes a healthier atmosphere for everyone.
Creating the first Air-Purifying bus shelter in the Delhi & NCR
The other key initiative is creating the first Air-Purifying bus shelter in the Delhi & NCR. Under this initiative, the locals can breathe the non-polluted air while waiting at bus stop.
Last year the pollutions level is hazardous in the capital city, to combat that this initiative is launched. In addition, Vodafone created the first Wi-Fi bus shelter in Gurgaon.
This is the major step in digitizing Delhi & NCR. This Free wi-fi can be used for 20 minutes irrespective of whether they are Vodafone customers or not.
Backing the Startups business
Vodafone helps the Startups in initial stages by giving them access to Vodafone products. These products cost up to Rs. 2,00,000 which is given for free sometimes. Oyo and Zomato are one of the few startups they have supported.
Digitizing Delhi & NCR with Free Wi-Fi Zones
Vodafone digitized Delhi & NCR by giving facility of Free Wi-Fi. More than 120 such hotspots are made across Delhi & NCR such as Fortis Hospital, DLF Mall of India, Khan Market, Delhi Haat, Airport, etc
This will keep all of us updated on the go and makes us stands with world best hi-tech cities.
Vodafone being the Customers first choice in Delhi and NCR
Vodafone Telecom service has over 1.2 crore happy customers in Delhi and NCR. They received record appreciation from 1 customer every 30 seconds. And it’s possible only because of their super valuable customer satisfaction services and offers.
These are a great effort being initiated by Vodafone to make a safe and better place for the people of Delhi and NCR. They not only contribute towards improving the pollution levels but also digitally upgrade us. Making our environment a better place is everybody’s responsibility.
We can together contribute by taking small steps. Like planting a tree by every single individual. Planting air purifying plants at your home, in your colony and encourage others to take part with you.
Keep your vehicle engine in good condition. Use public transport more. Decrease the number of trips you take with your car. Reduce the use of fireplace or stoves.
