Indians have grown up eating and listening to stories about turmeric. Every Indian home has turmeric in their kitchen cabinet. Turmeric health benefits has been popular across globe.

Few years back, I’ve met with an accident. And got muscles sprain in my foot. I’ve make a paste of honey, turmeric and lime powder. And apply it to the effected area. Further cover with bandage.

After few days, I’ve noticed swelling is reduced. Especially the pain is disappeared. My experience with turmeric is very good.

Turmeric is a staple in Indian households. Across every region, culture, and food its widely used.

It contains compound curcumin that has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. And have a variety of uses and benefits.

According to experts it slows down the aging process, prevents Alzheimer’s diseases and depression.

Unfortunately, as per research, it doesn’t’ absorb well by the bloodstream. Hence, taking it orally will not provide the appropriate health benefits.

For this one should take supplements after advice from health experts.

One other way is to take along with black pepper, which has a compound called piperine.

This increase absorption of turmeric by the body and maximize efficacy.

It has been used ancient ayurvedic medicine for its medicinal properties. Also, studies going on its holistic properties.
