Common Skin Care Mistakes :
Lets talk about some common skin care mistakes that we make in our routine. Swipe to see.
🔹️Waiting after cleansing for too long allows water to evaporate off the skin, pulling the moisture from inside the skin. This is called transepidermal water loss.
Always make sure you are quickly finishing the skin care routine and finishing with some sort of moisturizer.
🔹️Not using a moisturizer is a common mistake primarily for people with oily skin. They think they dont need one because the oil on their dkin works as a barrier which is not true , you do need a barrier to protect your skin from environmental damage .
🔹️Makeup wipes do not remove your makeup properly most of the times it is just smearing everything around untill you go through several wipes which is a waste and excessive wiping irritates the skin barrier. Use a good cleanser and than wash it off.
🔹️Over exfoliation will never help in fact it erodes thexdkin barrier, csuses redness and irritation making skin more prone to inflammation.
🔹️Less is more is the best policy in skin care too the more you layer the less there are chances of absorption of ingredients , leading to less effectiveness.
🔹️Remember the rule of thumb in skin care thinnest goes first so start from thinnest to thickest .
🔹️And the most important mistake is using pump or dropper directly on the skin causing contamination and leading to infections.
🔹️Last but not the least if you think your skin is not acting good despite all your measures seek help immediately as delaying things further deteriorates the matter.
Hope you understood the basic mistakes we make in our skin care and thus do not see good results.
