Emergency contraception is exactly what it sounds like. This means it prevents conception and prevents pregnancy. Here contraception means against conception.

The second method of emergency contraception is hormonal pills. There are two types of contraceptive pills. Regular contraceptive pills and emergency contraceptive pills.
