10 Healthy Lifestyle Habits to Improve Health and Immunity

Many Lifestyle habits have adverse effects on our health and various body system. Most of the illness arises from the gut aka stomach. And there’s the need to get rid of these habits before it’s too late. Today I’m discussing 10 healthy lifestyle habits to improve health and boost immunity.

1) Drink water properly

For the proper functioning of our body organs, an adequate amount of water is necessary. It usually happens that either we don’t drink an adequate amount of water as well in the right way.

The question is what’s the required amount for a healthy adult. It’s around 8-10 glass in a day.

What’s the right way to drink water? You must drink water slowly. Don’t gulp water, sip it. Drink water by sitting down and not in standing position. Don’t drink water directly from the water bottle especially the plastic bottles. Drink water by the glass and if possible in copper utensils.

But what about the quality of the water? Water that is available is with chlorine or filtered. This removes the essential nutrients from the water. In order to improve the quality of your water, you can infuse your water with fruits, etc. You can add lemon, orange, sondha Namak to your water. This will balance the required nutrients in your water.

2) Avoid late-night munching

Today’s time we all are awake late at night. Either we are busy on social media or watching our favorite web series. And our stomach craves for food. In order to satisfy our appetite, we go for late-night munching. This will put extra pressure on our digestive system. And it will not able to regenerate and recover. All our systems regenerate during the night. And it’s necessary to avoid late-night munching. Hence everyone should take the last meal at least 3hours before going to sleep.

3) Eat Healthy during evening cravings.

The first thing you have to do is remove unhealthy food from your fridge so that next time you have evening cravings you will not going to munch that. Instead, you can go for healthy food sprouts, dry fruit like makhana, peanuts or seeds like flax seeds, pumpkin or sunflower seeds, etc. They are rich in omega 3 fatty acids and good for your heart health, gut and skin health.

4) Digital Detox

Limit the number of times that you guys are spending on your gadgets. Excess use of gadgets causes eye strain, increases stress, irritability, makes us less mobile, decreases our confidence, and brings a sense of insecurity. To reduce the time of Gadgets use before it’s too late.

5) Sound Sleep

Due to our late-night habit to spend time on social media or watching our favorite web series, or late-night work or partying we tend to sleep late at night. As a result, we wake up late. This puts adverse effects on our health as well as weakens our immunity. So always try to go to sleep early as you can.

6) Make Exercise as part of your daily routine

Exercise not only excrete toxins from your body also boosts your immunity. It improves blood circulation helps your body parts to regenerate. A healthy person should exercise at least 20min a day in the morning. You can go for any kind of exercise Yoga, Workout, jogging, morning walk, etc.

7) Chew your food

Inrush most of us don’t chew our food instead of gulp it. When we chew the food and eat slowly, saliva secretion starts in the mouth, and release healthy bacteria. Also, the receptors send the signal to brain receptors that we have started eating. This prevents overeating, hence no extra weight gain.

9) Oil pulling

And it makes our gum and teeth stronger, improves gut health. Also, the woman who complains about hormonal imbalance will get benefits from this.

10) Personal Hygiene

Always take care of your personal hygiene as well as your surroundings.

  3. Oil pulling is one of the techniques I always wanted to try since a very long time. Even for copper utensils, I’ve heard it isn’t good to store the water for long time. Fill that jar everyday and drink it as it ensures goodness but when kept for long in copper vessel it turns quite poisonous.
