There is no doubt we all are more concerned about our health. You must be eating we balance diet, regular exercise, and everything and anything that keeps you healthy. But have you ever checked your muscle age? Do you know that our muscles are ageing faster as we grow? Hence, a regular muscle age test helps us to keep track of our muscle age. 

Why is it important to retain muscle strength as you age?

Post 40, our body starts to lose muscle mass. The muscle mass loss can be as much as 33% between 40-80 years of age. This can lead to weakening immunity and body strength. And hinders your daily activities. Hence it is important to maintain your physical strength with your age, for independent living.

You think that you are healthy. Who knows your muscles are aging faster than your age. For this, it is important to take the muscle age test. It hardly takes 10 min to calculate the muscle age.  I’ve taken the muscle age test and my results are 20 secs. 

Different ways to improve your muscle health and immunity:

Daily Exercise: Exercise on a regular basis will keep you physically and mentally fit. You can start with moderate exercise from your home only. Early morning exercises will keep you active throughout the day. Exercise strengthens your immunity and improves your muscle health. It maintains blood sugar levels, regulates blood pressure and lipid profile, etc. You can easily do cardiac exercise, squats, etc at your home.

Complete nutrition in your daily diet: Well-balanced nutritional diet is important to improve muscle health and immunity. Adults between 40-65 years of age should take an adequate amount of macro and micronutrients in their daily diet. This will keep them fit, and active.

No matter how well-balanced a diet you take, there are always chances of nutritional deficiencies. Ensure provide bridges the gap and provide the body with vital nourishment. It helps in boosting your immunity and helps in maintaining muscle mass.
