The vagina is a self-cleaning organ. It has lactobacilli bacteria that produces lactic acid and Maintains vaginal pH as acidic.
Therefore it prevents infection on its own. Hence you Don’t need any kind of washes to clean it.
Vaginal wash has chemicals that can cause allergic reactions and prolonged use can actually change the vaginal pH. Hence And chances of infection actually increase.
How to maintain personal hygiene?
Then the question is how to maintain personal hygiene. To maintain personal hygiene wash areas around the vagina with normal water or chemical-free or mild soap at least once a day.
Excessive washing with soap is not good for vaginal health.
Wear cotton garments. Avoid tight-fitting clothes for a long duration.
Remove pubic hairs. Now removing hair by waxing can cause infection. Hair removing cream can cause allergies. Laser hair removal is expensive.
Last but not least use a Hair trimmer for removing pubic hairs. It’s absolutely safe to use.
The main reason for vaginal infection via sexual transmission. Hence, maintain sexual hygiene. Use condoms during intercourse. Avoid having multiple sexual partners.
Don’t use any kind of soap spray or perfume in that area
