25 Ways to Save Water at Home

There are many ways to save water at home. But we usually overlooked or avoid because we don’t have habit to save water. But did you know that you can save gallons of water by incorporating these little habits in your day to day life. Its also important to teach your kids these habits from very beginning.

  1. Check your tabs for leaks.
  2. Put sand-filled or water-filled plastic bottles in your toilet flush.
  3. Use a bucket for bathing. Avoid using the shower.
  4. Take short showers.
  5. Turn off the water tap while brushing your teeth.
  6. Turn off the water tap in between applying soaps and washing your face.

  25. Dump tissues in dustibin instead of flush.
  26. Use a broom, to clean sidewalks.
