How to check whether your cycle Is normal or not?

The average cycle runs for every 28 to 32 days. Though there is some variation each month which is common. If your cycle is off by a few days, it doesn’t mean that it’s not regular.

The cycle is said to be irregular when it is occurring every 2 weeks or when a cycle is skipping for months. Hence the irregular menstrual cycle affects fertility.

With a normal cycle of 28 days, a woman ovulates on 14 days of her cycle. If a woman has irregular periods, Her frequency to ovulate decreases.

Hence, it’s difficult to conceive with irregular periods. She must concern her doctor to discuss her cycle and the day of ovulation.

How to check my ovulation rate?

During ovulation, the cervical mucus becomes clear, thin, and stretchy. You can also feel a pinching pain in the lower abdomen during ovulation. These are some signs to detect a period of ovulation.

Apart from that, concern your doctor for an ovulation test. Ovulation test checks on the level of luteinizing hormone (LH), occurs 36 hrs before ovulation.

If the ovulation test is positive that’s the best time to have intercourse. As chances of getting pregnant are high before and during ovulation.

What is the best time to get pregnant during a period?

The best time to get pregnant is more likely to happen when intercourse is performed a few days before ovulation. Ovulation mostly occurs in the middle of the period.

So, if you have a 28-day cycle, you’ll ovulate 14 days after your last period began. If you have a 34-day cycle, you’ll ovulate around the 20-day after your last period began.

Hence, the ovulation period varies with the menstrual period of the woman. It’s recommended to have intercourse every other day for getting pregnant.

What’s the best time to use a pregnancy test kit?

Pregnancy hormone (hCG) are expected to present in urine by the day of your missed period or 1-2 days before your due date.

If you perform Pregnancy test sooner than most probably the result are the negative result even if you are pregnant. If you get a negative result on your due date repeat the test in 48 hrs.

Most pregnancy tests are accurate a week after your expected period. For the accurate result, perform the test with your first-morning urine, as the level of hCG is highest at that time.
