Dietary changes for menorhagia:
If you or in your surroundings suffers from Puberty Menorrhagia than apart from medical treatment which is must , you can overcome its effects by following these tips :
- Anemia is major reason behind Puberty Menorrhagia . That should be ruled out by proper healthy diet & medication as prescribed by your doctors.Iron rich diet can fight anemia and can reduce heavy bleeding.
- Good sources of iron are oysters, salmon, beef, shrimp, tuna, raisins, dried apricots, figs, kidney beans, cereals, lentils, greens, broccoli, and fruits like strawberry, raspberry and bananas.
- Ayurvedic medicine prepared from the Asoka herb is a good cure. You can take about 30 ml of the formulation with water thrice a day.
- Tea of coriander or cilantro seeds flavour is a beneficial treatment for excessive bleeding.
- Cinnamon used with boiling water of tea, once or two times a day, is an excellent treatment.
- You can switch to Pomegranate, tomatoes, lemon, other citrus fruits and vegetables . This will rejenuvate your body and cleanse your system by ex creating out toxic material. These will reduce the pain .
- Reduce intake of fish, chicken ,Plain rice , sour or spicy and oily food. This helps by decreasing estrogen production and stabilize hormone levels.
