Chicken Malai Tikka Recipe

Many versions of this recipe run around food blogs, and I  have tried many versions. Today I’m sharing the recipe which is very easy, healthy and delicious. I created my own version of Afghan Murg Malai Tikka Recipe and believe me it was a super hit here.

Chicken Malai Tikka Recipe

Chicken pieces are marinated with cream and spices and grilled/baked in the oven served with dips/chutney. Trust me the flavors are very tempting. All the flavors of spices are perfectly blended during marination gives it a Mughlai touch. I’m sure you will like this version of Chicken Malai Tikka Recipe.

1. In bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with ginger-garlic paste, vinegar, lemon juice & salt for half an hour to an hour.

  1. Blend cashew nuts with milk into a smooth paste.
  2. In another bowl, mix the garam masala powder, grated cheese, salt and cashew nuts milk paste, eggs and cream. Mix until everything is well incorporated, giving a smooth paste.
  3. Add the marinated chicken into this mixture and set it aside for an hour (I prefer to left it overnight in the fridge)
  4. Preheat the oven at 220C

  1. This sounds like something my son and hubby might actually eat so I will try it this weekend. Thank you for sharing it and have a Blessed day.

  2. Sounds yummy – I assume the cashew nuts are chopped; how finely? I read a recipe this morning that called for shelling the nuts, and immediately thought “No way!” (when raw, they have the same chemical that causes an allergic reaction to poison ivy!)

  3. Not a fan of or very confident of cooking non -veg; so cant really rate this recipe. But like your pics and well detailled info on the recipe for sure.
